*أعظم رجل في التاريخ : محمد بن عبد الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

- لأن ربه حمده قبل أن يحمده الناس، وفي الآخرة يحمد ربه فيشفعه فيحمده الناس.
- ولأنه خص بسورة الحمد، وبلواء الحمد، وبالمقام المحمود.
وسميت أمته الحمادين، فجمعت له معاني الحمد وأنواعه...
وأما عن صفاته الخَلقية:
- فهو أبيض ، ليس شديد البياض أمهقا، بل مشربا بحمرة، قال أبو طالب:
وأبيضُ يستسقى الغمام بوجهه *** ثمالُ اليتامى عصمةٌ للأرامل
- ليس بالطويل البائن ولا بالقصير المتردد.
- بعيد ما بين المنكبين.

- وجمعت أم سليم من عرق النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فجعلته في طيبها.
- وعن أنس: " كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا مر في طريق من طرق المدينة، وجد منه رائحة المسك، فيقال: مر رسول الله ".
- قال أنس: " ما شممت عنبرا قط، ولا مسكا، ولا شيئا أطيب من ريح رسول الله"

أما عن صفاته الخُلقية:
- فقد كان أجود الناس، أجود بالخير من الريح المرسلة.
- ما عرض عليه أمران إلا أخذ أيسرهما، ما لم يكن إثما.
- أشد حياء من العذراء في خدرها.
- ما عاب طعاما قط؛ إن اشتهاه أكله وإلا تركه.
- إذا تكلم تكلم ثلاثا، بتمهل، لا يسرع ولا يسترسل، لو عد العاد حديثه لأحصاه.
- لا يحب النميمة ويقول لأصحابه: " لا يبلغني أحد عن أحد شيئا، إني أحب أن أخرج إليكم وأنا سليم الصدر".
- أشجع الناس، وأحسنهم خلقا، قال أنس: "خدمت رسول الله عشر سنين، والله ما قال لي: أفٍ قط. ولا لشيء فعلته لم فعلت كذا ؟ وهل لا فعلت كذا؟".

- ما التقم أحد أذنه، يريد كلامه، فينحّي رأسه قبله.
- يبدأ من لقيه بالسلام.
- خير الناس لأهله يصبر عليهم، ويغض الطرف عن أخطائهم، ويعينهم في أمور البيت، يخصف نعله، ويخيط ثوبه.
- يأتيه الصغير، فيأخذ بيده يريد أن يحدثه في أمر، فيذهب معه حيث شاء.
- يجالس الفقراء.
- يجلس حيث انتهى به المجلس.
- يكره أن يقوم له أحد، كما ينهى عن الغلو في مدحه.
- وقاره عجب ، لا يضحك إلا تبسما، ولا يتكلم إلا عند الحاجة، بكلام يحوي جوامع الكلم.
- إذا كره شيئا عرف ذلك في وجهه.
- لم يكن فاحشا، ولا متفحشا، ولا سخابا، بالأسواق، ولا لعانا، ولا يجزي بالسيئة السيئة، ولكن يعفو ويصفح.
- لا يقابل أحدا بشيء يكرهه، وإنما يقول: (ما بال أقوام ).
- لا يغضب ولا ينتقم لنفسه، إلا إذا انتهكت حرمات الله تعالى، فينتقم لله.
- ما ضرب بيمينه قط إلا في سبيل الله.
- لا تأخذه النشوة والكبر عن النصر.

( لكل نبي دعوة مستجابة، فتعجل كل نبي دعوته، وإني أختبأت دعوتي شفاعة لأمتي يوم القيامة، فهي نائلة إن شاء الله من مات لا يشرك بالله شيئا ) [البخاري]؛ ولذا قال تعالى عنه: {لقد جاءكم رسول من أنفسكم عزيز عليه ما عنتم حريص عليكم بالمؤمنين رؤوف رحيم}
من حسن تقدير الله لهذه الأمة أن جعله رسولها، فلها الفخر بهذا الشرف.. ومن المؤسف:
- أن من الناس من لا يستشعر عظمته.
- ومنهم من لا يكترث بحقوقه الواجبة على الأمة، من: محبة، واتباع، وأدب.
- وقد أهمل تعليم الصغار صفاته الخُلُقية والخَلْقية؛ فأطفالنا ينشئون وهم لا يعرفون عن نبيهم إلا اسمه وشيئا من نسبه، وهجرته من مكة إلى المدينة .
ونقول لمن لايعرف قدر الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم انه :
هو الذي قال لمن ظلمه وطرده لما قدر عليهم اذهبوا فأنتم الطلقاء .
هو صلى الله عليه وسلم الذي رحم الأسرى وحرر العبيد وأحيى الناس ونظم شؤونهم .
هو الذي كرم المرأة وجعلها كيان مستقلا لا سلعة رخيصة .
هو صاحب الشمائل والأخلاق الحميدة .
هو الذي ذرفت عيناه رحمة عندما أسلم ابن جاره اليهودي .
هو الذي شهد له المشركون بالصدق والعفاف والأمانة .
هو الذي جذب بمكارم اخلاقه كل العقول بمذاهبها المختلفة واجناسها المتعددة في مشارق الأرض ومغاربها .
هو الذي جمع بينالتقوي وحسن الخلق وقد امتدح الله أخلاقه فقال تعالى : ' وإنك لعلي خلق عظيم ' .
ولولا رسول الله ما كنا .
ولولا رسول الله لكنا نكرة في التاريخ ما ذكرنا الناس وما عرفتنا الأمم .
ولولا رسول الله لكنا نعبد الحجر أو الحيوان أو الشجر .
ولولا رسول الله كان مصيرنا إلى النار .
ولولا رسول الله لاستحللنا دماء بعضنا بعضا وأموال بعضنا بعضا .
